Embracing JavaScript & Plans for the Future | Nov 30, 2024
I have been considering adding more JavaScript features across all/most pages on my site. I was originally trying to avoid the use of JavaScript on pages that were not a Tool or Game. However, I have decided to embrace JavaScript and allow it for all pages.
This originally stems from my annoyance with trying to get the Navigation Bar to have a nice drop-down for the Sub-Navigation (such as Bookshelf or Shed) as well as a way to avoid manually updating every .html file if I want to add a new Navigation link or change the icons.
Here are the features I plan to implement (possibly in this order):
- Navigation Side-Bar To use Javascript
- Able to Adjust Icons (Easily Add New/Updated Stickers)
- Adding New Pages Without Updating Every .html File
- Pull a Random Ad Upon Page Refresh
- Website Themes!
- Ancient Greek / Roman / Egyption
- Lava Lamp
- Garden / Botanical
- Dungeon
- Animations!!
While I am making these changes, there may not be frequent updates to the site aside from new Site of Week updates and maybe some additional links or updates to Bookshelf logs. Please stay tuned and look out for that new Navigation Side Bar!
